On 29 April, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, endorsed the draft the International Information Agency Russian Ria Novosti on free access to your photo files for schools. RIA Novosti has one of the most important photographic services in Russia and in the bank saved more than 600,000 photographs.

The project covers not only the files inherited from Sovinformburó RIA Novosti (Soviet Bureau of Information) Press Agency "Novosti", but also the photographic archives of the former Soviet republics acquired by the agency and then digitized and cataloged.

"The importance of this project is to accustom the young generation to use legal and not pirated content to the study of history, for creative works and to complete the didactic material, "said the director of RIA Novosti.

This project will be implemented by September, when classes begin.
